Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Run The Nest (the "Service"), operated by Alexandre Prado ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Run The Nest is a family organization application providing shared calendar, meal planning, chores, budgeting, member profiles, and optional AI assistants accessible in the app and through WhatsApp.
2. Acceptance & Eligibility
By using the Service you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have a parent/guardian's permission) and that any information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- Send spam, malware, or attempt to interfere with the Service's security;
- Infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
- Probe, scan, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service;
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service.
4. AI Features
AI replies may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before acting on it and must not use the assistants to generate illegal, hateful, or harmful content. AI usage consumes credits as described on our Pricing page.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, branding, and content we provide, is owned by Alexandre Prado and protected by law. You retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
6. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer-service inquiries, handles billing and tax, and processes returns. Payment terms, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
7. Free Trial
New families may receive a free 30-day trial with a limited number of AI credits. After the trial, AI features are disabled unless you choose a paid plan. The non-AI parts of the Service remain free.
8. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, we will delete or anonymize your data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
